Boss strategy: claw of jormag

World Boss Event: Defeat the Claw of Jormag

Phase 1: Destroy the wall to stun the dragon until below 50%.

Phase 2: Destroy pillars and stun the dragon until he's down!

World Boss Event: Svanir

Phase 1

Ice storms spawn around the boss, then ice spikes inflict vulnerability to people who stand inside the damage effect circles. Final attack of this phase is a cone area damage where players who have the chilled debuff will take more damage.

Phase 2

After he is below 50% health, his appearance changes and his attacks change except for ice storm. This is mostly a melee phase, with jab, off-hand jab, massive punch, and grasping dead. These can be kited and mitigated with cooldowns.

1. Avoid AoE electric patches,
2. Patches are 6 seconds each,
3. The 5 second cripple debuff cannot be removed,
4. Pets and allowed that you summon are

immune to the cripple debuff.

Dragonfall Volatile Magic Trader

Token exchangers in Dragon Fall can exchange map tokens from other regions for volatile magic.

Due to the reliable amount of world quests that you can repeat every day in the main regions of the old expansion, this is now the fastest method for farming VM for skyscale achievement.

Alternatively, if you have 2700 gems, you can get the infinite volatile magic gathering tools set and it will spawn volatile magic for each gathering action from the tools.

There is no need to do the Istan farms anymore as the volatile magic rewards have been nerfed for istan maps.
